BATTLE OF TORA BORA-猎杀本拉登

On the road to Tora Bora. It was a long 10+ hour drive over some very rugged terrain.
This was just outside Kabul where the roads were still pretty nice. As we got closer to J-Bad they got much worse.

The interior view from one of the smaller caves we assaulted in Tora Bora. Some of these caves have been there since the Soviet war in the 80’s.
They stood many years of attacks from the Soviets and thought they were going to do the same with the U.S.
Little did they know who they were dealing with.
We advanced so fast and with such fire power, I personally listened to many of their radio calls for help and more medial supplies.

Cave entrance carved into the side of a mountain in Tora Bora. The right angle entrance protects the occupants from cold winds,
fragmentation from nearby bombs, provides better camouflage, and prevents light from inside the cave from shining out.

Some were asking about the “traps” that were left for us. Here is one.

Tora Bora Cave Life. They put in the effort and time to camouflage them from the aircraft above. And lots of traps around them.
